Beta

The Neptrix desktop beta.

The desktop app installs and manages the local runtime, and keeps itself up to date. Beta builds are available for macOS and Windows.

This beta enforces from the first connect. A fresh install runs the Default tier; enforcement pauses only with your explicit consent in the app, and decisions are still recorded to the audit chain.

Signing

Both builds are signed by QuantumPivot Limited.

macOS: Developer ID signed (Team ID WK9D5WJH56) and notarised by Apple. Gatekeeper should open it without warnings. If macOS reports the app as damaged or unverified, stop and report it.
Windows: Authenticode signed. The publisher shown on the SmartScreen and UAC prompts is QUANTUMPIVOT LIMITED. If the publisher is missing or different, stop and report it.

Updates

The app checks for updates automatically, downloads in the background, and verifies every download before anything happens. An update is only applied when you choose Restart now; quitting the app never applies an update silently.
